You Can't Beat It!, January 16, 2012 By This review is from: Samsung 15.6in. Laptop with Pentium Processor (Electronics) I've own this Samsung Laptop for a few weeks now and the longer I have it the better I like it. After plugging down $385.00 I expected this laptop to be sluggish, boring and not very productive. Why did I purchase it you may ask? I wanted it as a back up laptop. After I've been using it. I was very much surprised and I'm using it not as a back up but as a primary. It's fast, has a good amount of hard drive space. Display is excellent. Seems to run faster than my "hopped-up" HP Pavilion Elite Desktop. It's very functional, SD card slot, (3) USB ports, It's lite to carry. It's not as sleek looking as a $1000 models, but it does what I need it to do. Stereo sounds, bluetooth, wireless connection is very fast. I do a lot of photography and I'm using it to convert old 35mm slides over to digital and the speed amazes me.
For $385 you just can't beat it!! If you find it under $400 buy it!

Laptop review, February 3, 2012 By This review is from: Samsung 15.6in. Laptop with Pentium Processor (Electronics) I have always lurked in the $300-400 range of laptops. I have my share of experience with laptops that go well above a thousand, but if it's my money, I can wait until I get a better job before I get a muscly machine.
I picked up this laptop from a friend. He bought it at a Black Friday sale for 300-ish dollars and resold it to me for 100 when he realized this couldn't play Skyrim (that is a very sad fact indeed). That's a step up for me as I had been using a netbook for months.
If you are reading this review, I am guessing you are either a.) A college student looking for a cheap laptop b.) Anyone else looking for a cheap laptop c.) A parent looking for a laptop for their kids
To all those choices, know this: this laptop is a work laptop. To the students, this computer is not for gaming. It is not for playing Skyrim, Max Payne, Final Fantasy 13, Metal Gear Solid, Halo, Mass Effect, nor Bioshock Infinite. It is not for super heavy applications and... Read more
