This is a relatively new laptop from Toshiba, without any reviews posted before mine, so I wrote what follows to try to supply some information to people who were trying to decide whether to take advantage of a one-day Amazon special. That special is now over, and this computer is currently listed for its regular Amazon price, which is about $150 more than it was on November 23rd. It was right in my price range and is a lot faster and better than I originally expected it to be. The screen is very crisp and clear and it is very fast for what I use it for. A great sleeve I found to protect it is Palmetto State Laptop Sleeve 14 inch Neoprene Surf Art Style. This sleeve has plenty of storage for me and is not bulky like a laptop bag. Instead of going over all the specs, I'll highlight some pros and cons of this laptop for potential buyers.Pros: - Construction/Look: The chassis and chiclet keyboard (spill-resistant) feel real sturdy and of high-quality. The construction of this laptop doesn't have a cheap "plastic" feeling like some laptops out on the market. - Battery Life: The battery life on this 6-cell battery is unbelievable, especially for a 14' laptop. For the first few charge cycles, I've been able to consistently get over 7 hours of battery life surfing the web and playing music with headphones.
